What if my child misses a class due to illness, or they are away due to a family or school event?
Sunnybank Tennis does not offer make up lessons (except, as below, in the event of rain). Due to our strict policing of class sizes, we endeavour not to overfill classes.
What happens if it rains? Do we get a make-up lesson or a credit?
If classes at the centre are cancelled due to rain, a Saturday or Sunday later in the term will be allocated for a make-up lesson. No credits will be given if you are unable to attend this make-up class.
How are the fees calculated?
Fees are calculated on a weekly basis according to the number of weeks in the school term. Lessons are, however, charged by the term not the number of weeks attended
Internal fixtures are charged at a set rate for the term
Are classes held on pupil free days or Public Holidays?
All classes at Sunnybank Tennis Centre are held on pupil free days. Classes are NOT held at schools or at the centre on Public Holidays.
 

POLICY RELATING TO WET WEATHER, MISSED LESSONS, PUPIL FREE DAYS AND PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

  • Lessons will be held on pupil free days at the Padstow Road centre only, not at schools
  • No lessons are held anywhere on public holidays
  • Lessons cancelled by Sunnybank Tennis Club, prior to their start time due to wet weather, will be conducted on a Saturday/Sunday - at a time to be advised
  • We are unable to offer replacement lessons for any reason other than due to wet weather (as detailed above). Please contact us only if there are exceptional circumstances for non-attendance, as your payment for the term is guaranteeing a place with a coach for a particular lesson time and day each week. It is not refundable or exchangeable
